Northern Allstars Late Model Dirt Series, Dirt2Media Ink Streaming Partnership

HOPE, Ind. - Officials with the Northern Allstars Late Model Dirt Series and Dirt2Media are pleased to announce a new streaming partnership for the 2024 racing season that will bring exclusive live coverage and other content to the platform beginning this weekend at Brownstown Speedway.

The Northern Allstars Late Model Dirt Series was resurrected in 2023 by National Dirt Late Model Dirt Hall of Famer, James Essex, who will serve as the Series Director and Announcer. The series had been dormant since 2012 when it ran one single event after running several races between 1998 and 2011. The series ran two events at Brownstown Speedway in 2023 with Bobby Pierce and Stormy Scott taking the wins. The series averaged 42 cars for the two races with a high of 54 for the Ira Bastin Memorial in April.

“It was great to work with Ryan Bowling and his crew at Dirt2Media in 2023 to get the Northern Allstars Late Model Dirt Series back off the ground. Our goal when we brought back the series was for the regional late model drivers a chance to race for more money. We need to keep regional racing alive and help the racetracks survive as well,” said Essex.

“I want to thank promoters Jim Price at the Brownstown Speedway and Josh King at the Florence Speedway for suggesting we try some different ideas for streaming their respective events with the Northern Allstars Late Model Dirt Series on Dirt2Media. The interest for the series with drivers wanting to run with us has been the most exciting part for me and for them.  We have several drivers planning on getting back into late model racing that have not raced for a while or have never run a regional series. We plan on putting on quality racing programs for the fans.”

Those race fans who can’t make it to the track can access coverage by visiting www.dirt2media.tv and clicking on the desired event to view purchase options. After successful purchase, viewers have the ability to watch by web browser, smart tv, gaming console, Chomecast, Fire TV, and Android & iOS apps.

A pay-per-view model will be utilized for Northern All-Stars Late Model Dirt Series events aired on Dirt2Media. Pricing for each night will be influenced by what General Admission pricing is to attend the event in person. Significant proceeds from the pay-per-view purchases will directly benefit each track. All event replays will be available on-demand and available with a Deuces Wild All-Access monthly subscription.

“We are thrilled to align ourselves with the vision of Jame’s vision for the Northern All-Stars Late Model Dirt Series,” said Dirt2Media Founder/Co-Owner, Ryan Bowling.

“As the culture between dirt racing and live-streaming continues to evolve, we will take into consideration each track’s individual needs and provide our best suited solutions to showcase and assist in the success of each event.”

The Northern All-Stars Late Model Dirt Series kicks off their 2024 campaign on Saturday, March 2nd at Brownstown Speedway with a $5,000 to-win special event. On March 16th, the tour visits Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky for the 48th Annual Spring 50 paying $10,000 to-win.

The 2nd Annual Ira Bastin Memorial returns to Brownstown Speedway on April 6th followed by a stop at Circle City Raceway in Indianapolis for the 3rd Annual CJ Rayburn Stronger Than Dirt Tribute race.

May 18th will see the series in competition at Lawrenceburg Speedway for a $5,000 to-win special at the high banked 1/2-mile dirt oval located in in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky hosts on August 2nd.
