2024 HART Micro Schedule Unveiled

SEYMOUR, Ind. - The Heartland Auto Racing Tour has revealed its schedule for Micro events in the upcoming 2024 racing season, featuring stops in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and Kentucky. The tour will encompass thirty-one dates at thirteen different venues for its Non-Wing, Restricted, and Junior Sprint touring divisions.

"We are excited to hit the ground running in 2024 with a slightly more aggressive schedule than we first anticipated for our HART Micros," said Series Director and Dirt2Media Founder/Co-Owner, Ryan Bowling.

"With this being our first go at running a series, we wanted to create a schedule with some diversity to get a better feel for what we can put together in 2025 and beyond. We've added several new tracks to the offering and revamped the speed week lineup and I'm really looking forward to seeing what the results are."

The 2024 campaign kicks off on March 8th and 9th at the Southern Illinois Center in DuQuoin, Illinois, with the Midwest Winter Nationals, where show-up points will be awarded to HART Non-Wing Series competitors. Following this, the regular season begins at US24 Speedway with the Heartland Classic on April 12th and 13th, followed by the Wayne County Showdown at Wayne County Speedway in Wayne City, Illinois, on April 20th.

Moving forward, the tour travels West across I-70 to Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex in Sweet Springs, Missouri, on May 3rd and 4th for the Dirt2Media Duels, a two-day major event in collaboration with the NOW600 Wildcard Series. This will be a Dirt2Media promoted event.

Macon Speedway hosts the 2nd Annual Cornfield Combat on Memorial Day weekend, featuring Junior Sprints on May 24th-26th, with Restricted and Non-Wing joining the party on the 25th and 26th. Practice will be offered on May 24th for Non-Wing and Restricted at the high-banked dirt oval in located in Macon, Illinois.

June brings Indiana Micro Week, a six-day stint across the Hoosier State for all three divisions. The week begins in Peru at Miami County Raceway on Monday, June 24th followed by a stop at nearby US24 Speedway in Logansport on Tuesday. The tour ventures South on Wednesday, making its first ever appearance at Tony Stewart Speedway, working in conjunction with the Bartholomew County Fair at the Columbus, Indiana venue located approximately 45 minutes South of Indianapolis.

Thursday and Friday night's venues for Indiana Micro Week, never before seen by the Heartland Auto Racing Tour, will be announced soon.

Saturday night, June 29th, Rush County Fairgrounds in Rushville, Indiana will host the sixth and final night of the revamped speed week formerly known as Hoosier Dirt Cup.

July includes a pair of Friday-Saturday race weekends, with Friday's venues yet to be announced. Saturday, July 13th the tour heads to Southern Illinois Raceway in Marion, Illinois for the Prelude To The Sprague. The rejuvenated Coles County Speedway hosts on July 20th followed by a revisit on August 2nd and 3rd for the Coles County Showdown.

September highlights a two-day special at Wayne County Speedway on September 13th and 14th, while October features five events, including a stop at Southern Illinois Raceway on October 5th and a first time visit to Paducah International Raceway on October 12th supporting the ASCS National Series, which will be competing on the traditional 3/8 mile dirt oval. Micros will compete on the infield oval.

A pair of Indiana tracks will host Friday night supporting events for the Saturday stops at SIR and Paducah on the 5th and 12th. Those venues are to be announced soon.

HART Championship Night takes place at Coles County Speedway on Friday, October 18th preluding the track's special event on October 19th, the Halloween Clash.

"We are in the process of putting together our points fund for all three divisions and hope to have an announcement in the coming weeks on what that will look like," said Bowling.
