Revamped Coles County Speedway Releases 2024 Schedule
MATTOON, Ill. - One of the nation's longest running Micro Sprint facilities comes to life once again in 2024 with a fresh new look and aggressive attitude.
Brian and Amanda Rieck began their leadership of the Coles County Speedway at the end of the 2023 racing season and have since given the historic facility a boost of energy going into the upcoming season.
The 2024 event schedule boasts thirty-two nights of racing action on a variety of different days throughout the season at the Mattoon, Illinois venue.
Opening Night is scheduled for April 20th with a Weekly Racing program on the docket. The Hyper Racing WFO Winged Outlaw Micro Series presented by Dirt2Media visits on April 27th paying $1,000 to-win.
The month of May offers four weekends of Weekly Racing action and will conclude with Xtreme Outlaw Midgets and the WFO Micro Series on May 31st.
Weekly Racing returns on June 8th, followed by the inaugural running of the Tom Rieck Memorial on June 14th and 15th featuring the WFO Micro Series. $1,000 to-win Twin Qualifiers on Friday night prelude the $5,000 to-win finale on Saturday night.
POWRi Midgets visit on June 20th before another Weekly Racing program on June 29th.
The Firecracker 40 on July 5th and 6th is set to pay $1,000 to-win on Friday and $3,000 to-win on Saturday.
HART Micros make their first appearance of the season on July 20th and return yet again on August 2nd and 3rd followed by a trio of Weekly Racing programs before wrapping up on the 31st with the Prelude To The KKM.
The KKM Challenge visits on September 4th-7th.
Weekly Racing on September 14th gives way to the Jeff Horn Memorial featuring Outlaw Non-Wing paying $5,000 to-win.
The NOW600 Wildcard Series makes a special appearance on Sunday, September 22nd as part of the #RoadToDuecesWild.
A pair of Weekly Racing events the first two weekends in October are followed by the HART Micros Championship Night on October 18th and the 2nd Annual Halloween Clash to wrap up the season on October 19th.
Dirt2Media is the official streaming provider of Coles County Speedway beginning in 2024 and will offer live and on-demand coverage of each and every event at the Mattoon, Illinois venue with the exception of the Xtreme Outlaw Midgets and KKM Challenge dates.
