Dirt2Media partners with Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek

Dirt2Media and officials with Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek are pleased to announce a new broadcasting and marketing partnership for the 2023 edition of PA 600 Speedweek which is set to kickoff on July 17th at Greenwood Valley Action Track located in Orangeville, PA.

"Dirt2Media has done a lot to promote the 600cc sprint class so it only makes perfect sense to partner together to make this one of the largest weeks of racing for 600's ever. With the amazing job Dirt2Media does with its broadcasts, offering an in-depth look at the teams and drivers of the race, they are the go to channel for 600cc sprints," said Mike Dicely, owner of Hyper Racing and Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek.

In 2005, “The Racing Realtor” Dale Thomas organized one of the Northeast’s first major events for Micro Sprints. The $10,000 to-win Super 600 Showdown was contested at Hill Valley Speedway and saw Donnie Hendershot take the victory following misfortune from Drew Heistand who led 42 of 50 laps before suffering engine failure.

Two years later, the mega-event switched venues and became the final event of the first ever PA 600 Speedweek at Lanco’s Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway. Founders of the PA 600 Speedweek, Trip Kone and Dan Little worked with Thomas to expand on his efforts, ultimately creating one of the most prestigious events in Micro Sprint racing.

Fast forward to 2017, Hyper Racing became the title sponsor of the grueling Speedweek events and still holds those rights to the present day with Dicely at the helm. Nick Fillman, who took on the role of promoter in 2022, enters his second season of promotions for the Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek.

"We could not be happier to have Dirt2Media as a part of the Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek, presented by Performance Electronics brand! Dirt2Media has done, and is doing an amazing job promoting and building the 600cc sprint division, and we could not be happier to have the amazing talent and events of 600 Speedweek become a part of their package," said Fillman.

"Dirt2Media's broadcasts are exceptional and feature tons of content and events across the country. The talent that comes east for 600 Speedweek is among the toughest found all season long, and to have the opportunity for many of our unheard of teams and drivers on the east coast to have an even bigger chance to showcase their talent to national viewers, is an amazing opportunity that we cant wait to be a part of."

Dirt2Media will offer exclusive, in-depth coverage for all six nights of competition. Live broadcasts, driver interviews, featured stories, and other dazzling content will be available to viewers across the world.

“We are very excited for the opportunity to work with Mike (Dicely) and Nick (Fillman) with Hyper Racing to bring a level of coverage to these Speedweek events like they truly deserve,” said Ryan Bowling, Founder and Co-Owner of Dirt2Media.

Dirt2Media will also serve as presenting sponsor for championship night at Lanco’s Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway, boosting the purse substantially for the July 22nd event.

"We are super excited to have Dirt2Media come on board to sponsor the $10,000 to win finale of the Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek presented by Performance Electronics," said Dicely.

A full streaming schedule and more information will be released in the coming weeks.
