Lake Cumberland Up Next For AAS
BURNSIDE, Ky. - The American All-Star Series presented by PPM Racing Products is scheduled for its first ever appearance at Lake Cumberland Speedway this Saturday night, headlining the Burnside, Kentucky facility’s season opening event on April 16th.
Entrants are expected from Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, and other surrounding states for the $3,000 to-win ‘Spring Showdown’. Cory Hedgecock currently leads the American All-Star Series points standings coming into this weekend’s event over Hayden Cardwell.
Hedgecock won the opening round of AAS competition at I-75 Raceway on April 1st VIDEO REPLAY. Hardwell picked up $5,000 victory in the second round of competition on April 2nd at the Niota, Tennessee facility VIDEO REPLAY.
The 3/8 mile red-clay dirt oval situated near Lake Cumberland hosts racing each Saturday night featuring Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, KDRA Super Stocks, and KDRA 4-Cylinders.
